We're a family-run Australian aquarium business, and we've been part of Sydney's fishkeeping community for over 20 years. What started as a market stall has grown into a trusted online destination for Koi, Goldfish and quality fish food, without losing the personal service that got us here.
Zen Aquarium began as a small family stall at Paddy's Markets Flemington in Sydney, selling healthy fish at fair prices to local fishkeepers.
When the Covid pandemic hit in 2021, we faced a tough call: adapt or risk losing the business. We took Zen Aquarium online, a decision that kept our family business alive and let us ship our fish to customers right across Australia for the first time.
We're still that same family business today. We've just grown to reach a lot more fishkeepers.
Over the years we've worked with a wide range of freshwater fish, and Koi and Goldfish are where our real expertise lies. We carefully select every fish we sell for health, colour and quality, with new stock arriving regularly.
We also carry a rotating selection of Guppies, Platies, Corydoras, Bettas and Australian Native Tandanus Catfish, depending on what's available.
After 20 years of feeding and caring for Koi and Goldfish, we wanted to give our customers a food we'd confidently use ourselves. So we made one.
Zen Aquarium Fish Food is built around the everyday nutritional needs of the fish we know best, in pellet sizes to suit fish of every stage.
